The USB 3.1 standard provides a technical innovation for the Universal Serial Bus (USB). The USB Type-C plug can be inserted into the port on both sides. This means you no longer have to worry about which way to hold your cable. The USB Type-C plug is designed for up to 10,000 mating cycles and thus promises a long service life.
