PolyMax describes a series of filaments that the manufacturer Polymaker has enhanced with a nano-reinforcement technology. The PolyMax PLA can be printed just like regular PLA but offers better properties. It is more durable and reliable during printing. The material provides up to 9 times the impact resistance compared to standard PLA and a 20% improvement compared to ABS. Thanks to a Jam-Free technology, the material only softens in the hotend and does not clog in the feed tube. These features create an easy-to-use material that produces excellent surfaces while also having improved mechanical properties. The V2 version is the new iteration where the filament is wound on a cardboard spool. The material itself remains unchanged.
