PHS-memory RAM suitable for HP Z600

This 8GB RAM is 100% compatible with HP Z600. Note when selecting memory modules: RDIMM memory can only be used starting from motherboard revision C2 (Intel 5520 chipset).

Here's how to check if you have a motherboard with a C2 revision:

• Start the BIOS setup menu. In the System Information Menu, the Boot Block Date will be displayed.
• If the Boot Block Date shows the date 01/07/10, it is a C2 revision.
• If the Boot Block Date shows the date 01/30/09, it is a B3-based system.

Alternatively, you can also use the HP Performance Advisor software. Here you will find the information displayed under System Configuration and Baseboard ID.

• All B3-based systems will have the value: 0AE8h.
• The system with the C2 revision will have the value: 0B54h.

RDIMM and ECC UDIMM should not be mixed.
