Here’s how to check if you have a motherboard with C2 revision: - Start the BIOS setup menu. In the System Information Menu, the Boot Block Date will be displayed. - If the Boot Block Date shows the date 01/07/10, it is a C2 revision. - If the Boot Block Date shows the date 01/30/09, it is a B3-based system. Alternatively, you can also use the HP Performance Advisor software. Here, you will find the information displayed under System Configuration and Baseboard ID. - All B3-based systems will have the value: 0AE8h. - The system with C2 revision will have the value: 0B54h. RDIMM and ECC UDIMM should not be mixed.
