These thermal pads are excellent for compensating for height differences and irregularities on heat sinks and the components to be cooled. Thanks to their very good elastic compressibility and low hardness, even a small amount of pressure achieves a very good adaptation to the surfaces. They compensate for all large and small height differences, from microscopic grooves to visible unevenness. The surface of the pad is slightly sticky and covered with a protective film that must be removed before installation. This slight adhesive property comes into play, preventing any slipping during the installation of a heat sink. These thermal pads can also be cut to the desired size.
