On our design Black and Gold Onyx, we showcase a book cover made of goat leather, crafted by Friedrich W.J.C. Kolb in 1835 in Amsterdam. Originally, the cover was designed for a Latin treatise on plant physiology by the renowned Dutch botanist Willem Hendrik de Vriese.
