Die Panasonic G70 ist größer und griffiger als die GM-Modelle, aber auch doppelt so schwer. Sie lässt sich dank griffiger Wahlräder jedoch sehr einfach bedienen. Gut ist auch der große und helle Sucher. Mit dem hohen Serienbildtempo gelingen tolle Schnappschüsse, vor allem mit 30 Bildern pro Sekunde im sogenannten 4K-Fotomodus mit 8-Megapixel-Bildern.
