Advantage of the Short Adapter Cables: When an adapter is first plugged into an output socket and then a cable is connected in series, the combined length of the adapter and cable connector creates a significant leverage effect on the socket. This is eliminated by the short Short Adapter Cables, as only a simple connector is used. The sockets are protected.
