The Nintendo Pro Controller in The Legend of Zelda - Tears of the Kingdom Edition is inspired by The Legend of Zelda - Tears of the Kingdom. It features a button layout similar to that of the Wii Classic Controller Pro but uses the staggered analog stick layout of the GameCube controllers and the Microsoft Xbox console family, with an overall design very similar to that of the Xbox Wireless Controller. Up to eight Pro Controllers can be synchronized with the Nintendo Switch. Additionally, it can also be paired or connected to a computer for PC gaming. The Pro Controller also supports near-field communication for use with the Nintendo Amiibo series, as well as HD Rumble and motion controls. Fully charging the controller takes about 6 hours, and on a full charge, the battery life is approximately 40 hours. The controller also features a USB-C port and comes with a USB-C to Type-A charging cable that can be connected to the USB-A 2.0 ports of the Switch dock.
