Nintendo

The motion-controlled Nintendo Switch title combines adventure gaming with fitness exercises. In adventure mode, virtual opponents are defeated through actual fitness exercises. The Ring-Con and leg strap, new accessories inspired by fitness equipment, detect the movements of players and translate them into the game. The intensity of the exercises can be individually adjusted – suitable for all ages and fitness levels, for both children and adults.

A new Nintendo Switch title will be released on October 18, 2019: Ring Fit Adventure invites gaming and fitness enthusiasts into a fantastic adventure where they can defeat their opponents using real movements and fitness exercises. This is made possible by brand new accessories included with the game. Players' movements are projected onto the screen: to move in the game, players must jog in place – this running motion is transferred into the game and onto the character via the leg strap. A strong squeeze of the Ring-Con can unleash a powerful attack against adversaries. Those who play daily combine fun with regular training of various muscle groups. The diverse mini-games and exercises can be completed by all Nintendo Switch athletes, regardless of age, gaming experience, and fitness level.

PEGI

Pan European Game Information (PEGI) is a European video game content rating system established to help European parents make informed decisions on buying computer games with logos on games boxes.

Country version Packaging

Describes whether the game comes with USK or PEGI packaging. USK ("Unterhaltungssoftware Selbstkontrolle") is the age rating used in the German market. The PEGI ("Pan European Game Information") age rating is used in the rest of Europe (and also predominantly in the Swiss market). While PEGI is "only" a recommendation, the USK rating is binding for the sale of software in the German market.

The country version usually has no influence on the game content.

Note: It can happen that occasionally different packaging is delivered.

The Entertainment Software Self-Regulation Body (USK) is the responsible body in Germany for the age rating of video games as well as video game trailers.
