Experience a nostalgic story in a whole new light with Pokémon Shining Diamond for the Nintendo Switch. Embark on an adventure full of secrets in the Sinnoh region. Catch Pokémon, challenge the strongest Pokémon trainers in the region, and uncover the mystery behind Team Galactic's evil plans. Your journey begins when a famous professor in the field of Pokémon development hires you to travel through the Sinnoh region and create a lexicon of all Pokémon, the Pokédex. As a Pokémon trainer, you will encounter many people and Pokémon, including battle-hungry trainers. However, be careful – the shady Team Galactic will constantly cause you trouble. What are these fashionably dressed henchmen up to? Test your skills as a trainer by challenging the gym leaders in Sinnoh. Each of them brings you one step closer to your chance to compete for glory in the Pokémon League. Do you have what it takes to become the next champion of Sinnoh? Do you have a favorite Pokémon that you can't part with? Choose one to accompany you on your adventure through the Sinnoh region, with which you can talk and observe its reactions. During your adventure, you might encounter the legendary Pokémon Dialga. Use the exploration kit you receive during your journey to visit the underground caves, where you can engage in activities like digging up valuable treasures and Pokémon fossils or building and customizing your own secret base to your liking. While exploring underground, you will find Pokémon nests. These offer a variety of different environments, from caves with calm waters to volcanic landscapes, each inhabited by different Pokémon. Among the Pokémon of the Sinnoh region, there are some that can only be found in these Pokémon nests.

PEGI

Pan European Game Information (PEGI) is a European video game content rating system established to help European parents make informed decisions on buying computer games with logos on games boxes.

Country version Packaging

Describes whether the game comes with USK or PEGI packaging. USK ("Unterhaltungssoftware Selbstkontrolle") is the age rating used in the German market. The PEGI ("Pan European Game Information") age rating is used in the rest of Europe (and also predominantly in the Swiss market). While PEGI is "only" a recommendation, the USK rating is binding for the sale of software in the German market.

The country version usually has no influence on the game content.

Note: It can happen that occasionally different packaging is delivered.

The Entertainment Software Self-Regulation Body (USK) is the responsible body in Germany for the age rating of video games as well as video game trailers.
