The Nintendo Switch 2 surprised us both positively and negatively during testing: although the display with VRR support and a 120 hertz refresh rate enables a very smooth display, the low luminosity is disappointing for HDR graphics. One of the positive surprises is the good graphical performance of major titles such as "Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate c't 2025, Issue 14 Edition" or the fun "Mario Kart World"...
The Nintendo Switch 2 is a clear technical step forward and can compete with the PS5 and Xbox to some extent. The sharper display and smoother gameplay on the TV are particularly impressive. The innovative mouse function is practical, but the short battery life is disappointing...
