Extrem kompakt, einfach zu bedienen und sehr reaktionsschnell - das sind die Stärken der Nikon 1 J5. Die Bildqualität ist deutlich besser als bei einer Kompaktkamera und kommt bei Tageslicht an Spiegelreflexmodelle mit ihren größeren Sensoren heran. Der kleinere Sensor macht sich aber bemerkbar, wenn es schummerig wird. In Fotos ist dann Rauschen zu sehen.
Noch gute, sehr kleine Systemkamera ohne Sucher. Guter Monitor zum Klappen, schneller Autofokus, für eine hochwertige Kamera ausgesprochen leicht und schön flach.
