The direct current from the photovoltaic modules is transmitted directly to the built-in heating element and immediately converted into heat without any loss. The integrated MPP tracker ensures that the PV generator always operates at the optimal working point, similar to a PV inverter. The ELWA operates independently of the power grid, as it is powered by the PV generator, making it a pure off-grid operation.
