The cable material of the MUTEC PSC 50 BNC/BNC is double-shielded with a copper foil combined with a copper braid. Low attenuation is achieved through a low-loss PE-LCC dielectric. The conductor consists of a 19-strand stranded wire made of oxygen-free copper. With a diameter of 7.3 mm, the cable is slim, flexible, and yet robust.

For the connectors, MUTEC uses the special 50 Ohm variant of the BNC connector from a German specialist manufacturer with decades of experience. The mechanically extremely robust plugs are hard gold-plated in the contact area, maintain a constant contact pressure throughout their lifespan, and have low return loss.
