The Razr 40 Ultra is a technical tour de force from Motorola, combining a revamped design with improved durability and a better battery. It is a very strong clamshell phone, but has to make some familiar compromises with the camera.
Making phone calls, sending messages, surfing the internet - for most people, everyday life without a smartphone is almost unthinkable. This makes it all the more important to be able to rely on the devices. Which model is the test winner? Which has the best mobile camera or the most powerful battery?...
Thanks to the large front display, the Razr 40 Ultra needs to be opened less often. Although Samsung is expected to follow suit with the Galaxy Z Flip 5, Motorola has the edge for now. The Razr is also pleasantly flat and light, has usable cameras and a very good main display. The battery life has also improved...
The Razr 40 Ultra shows how practical small folders can be. It fits well in a trouser pocket, can be operated with one hand when folded and conjures up an XXL display when needed. In testing, the bright, smooth display and the long battery life were particularly appealing.
