An overview of all currently available colors and inspiration for use can be found at mogbook.com. This pocket-sized journal is a fine, colorful, and useful tool for general self-organization in everyday life (except for 'Black is the new Black' and 'Plain White', which are colorless). On 184 cream-colored pages, you can capture your most important possession: your thoughts, with one page per day for a semester. Those thoughts can be quite slippery; I'm sure a brilliant idea has slipped away from you at some point. I originally designed it for myself because I like when all the books on the shelf are the same size and color-coordinated. Just a little quirk of mine. However, what I love most is:
1. Writing.
2. Reading what I've written.
Have you also underestimated journaling, perhaps even laughed at it? I've realized that, in its simplicity, it is incredibly powerful: Whatever you put on paper finds its way into reality much more easily. Throughout our lives, we search for answers, yet all the answers we will ever need already lie within us. Paper and pen can tease out what remains hidden in the fog of thoughts, which is too fast, unclear, and chaotic. Writing allows you to orient yourself, reflect, and most importantly, recognize: Who am I, what do I want, and why? Writing is light. Overthinking is darkness. Everything you need to know about yourself, you will learn from one book: your book. Where every worthwhile story can be found, yours could also be: written, in a real book. If you don't miss the chance to write it, it will be your best teacher. In the end, a dull pencil is indeed better than the sharpest mind.
Don't stop until your story also belongs to those worthwhile stories.
