Thanks to the magnetic safety connection between the power cable and the USB-C port, accidental drops of the laptop due to sudden tugging on the power cable can be largely prevented. The magnetic safety mechanism safely disconnects when someone trips over the power cable or pulls hard on the laptop. The power cable can be magnetically attached to the USB-C port on either side. It supports USB-C Power Delivery with up to 100 W charging and can be used with USB-C power adapters. The charging cable does not transmit data or a video signal.
