The LMP Thunderbolt 5 (USB-C) cable supports data transfer rates of up to 80 Gbit/s (bidirectional) or up to 120 Gbit/s with Bandwidth Boost for the highest display bandwidth requirements, making it suitable for connecting a wide range of high-performance devices. In addition to the latest Thunderbolt standard, it also supports PCIe Gen 4 (up to 64 Gbit/s), DisplayPort 2.1 (up to 8K video), and USB data transfer (USB4 80G, USB 3.2 Gen 1 & 2). The Thunderbolt 5 cable can deliver up to 240 W to the host according to the Power Delivery (PD) 3.1 protocol. It is fully backward compatible with Thunderbolt 4 and 3 as well as USB4 and USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 & 1 devices.
