This Active Extension Pro 10 m should only be used in combination with the complete system. The first segment must be the 8 m Active Extension Pro. Please make sure to follow the installation instructions.

Each Active Extension extends the range by 10 m. A maximum of 4 Active Extensions can be used in total between the USB host (computer) and USB device. In combination with additional segments, USB distances of up to 18 m can be bridged, and in some cases, depending on the system environment, up to 38 m. SuperSpeed USB 3.0 data transfer, backward compatible with USB 2.0/1.1/1.0. Plug & Play – drivers are included in the operating system.

The USB Type A socket features a hook mechanism to prevent the unwanted removal of USB connectors from additional extension segments. Therefore, only USB cables or correspondingly slim USB devices can be directly plugged into this socket.
