32 server ports via Cat.5/6! Local and optional remote KVM over IP user! The KVM switch features an optional slot for a remote access KVM over IP module for remote access via LAN, internet, and modem. The local console connects via VGA and PS/2 or USB. Switching for active KVM access between local and remote console is controlled by a short timeout; alternatively, the remote console can also be locked. Up to 32 servers can be directly connected using slim Cat.5e/6 UTP cables and Cat.5/6 computer modules, available in USB & VGA as well as PS/2 & VGA versions. 8 switches can be cascaded to support up to 256 servers / KVM over IP - a maximum of 8 switches x 32 ports can be managed through a master switch. 32 server ports per switch in just one height unit, connecting via Cat.5e/6 UTP cables up to a maximum of 100m. Cat.5/6 computer modules are available for both PS/2 and USB.
