Product details
The Lindy HDMI 10.2G EDID Emulator has been specifically designed for applications where a reliable availability of EDID must be ensured continuously and without interruption. It stores and emulates the EDID of a display, allowing signal sources to maintain their signal without shutting down or altering it even in the event of a disruption – making it ideal for use with AV/KVM extenders, switches, or splitters.
The emulator can also be used for IP solutions to permanently simulate the connection of a display to the graphics cards of a PC or server for remote control. With a maximum resolution of 2160p and the ability to pass through HDCP 1.4 content, it is suitable for a wide range of PC and AV applications. When combined with the Lindy HDMI / VGA / DVI EDID Recorder 32120, cloned EDID information can be provided to a graphics card.
It is also possible to use the emulator without cloning display data. The emulator already has numerous conventional and commonly used combinations stored.
Please note that this emulator does not support HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2.
