Product details

The Lindy HDMI 2.1 EDID Emulator Adapter is designed for systems that require an uninterrupted signal to overcome EDID-related issues that commonly occur when using AV equipment such as KVMs, extenders, splitters, and switches. With its small-scale and minimalistic design, this adapter is a handy connectivity solution for both AV and IT installers, ensuring that legacy and new HDMI equipment works seamlessly without compromising performance.

The emulator also features LED indicators for a quick and simple installation process, and it supports resolutions up to 7620x4320 at 60Hz or 3840x2160 at 120Hz HDR (via cloning) with HDCP 2.3 pass-through. This makes it perfect for use with Ultra HD 4K monitors.

This adapter can quickly and easily clone the EDID data from the HDMI display, allowing the graphics card direct access to the correct data from the display. The cloning process takes less than 10 seconds. Alternatively, the EDID emulator is configured with a preset EDID that uses the most common resolutions and timing combinations. Please see the technical information section for a full breakdown.
