The Lindy USB 3.2 Gen 1 Matrix Switch allows the user to share up to 4 USB devices with up to 4 hosts in various ways: by pushing the buttons on the front panel, via web GUI, and using RS-232 commands. It's possible to save up to 8 preset configurations and change the names of hosts and devices from the GUI and with the commands for smooth and easy operations.
This matrix switch is ideal for sharing printers, storage devices, or webcams in office environments, for conference room presentation systems, KVM, or industrial applications. It supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 with data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps, as well as USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices, making it perfect for use with multiple PCs or Macs. Each USB Type-A port provides up to 900 mA power to the connected device.
Information about USB 3.0, 3.1, and 3.2: USB 3.0, USB 3.1, and USB 3.2 PCs, cables, and devices are all compatible with each other when using either a USB Type A or USB Type C host interface. USB 3.0, USB 3.1 Gen 1, and USB 3.2 Gen 1 all support data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps. USB 3.1 Gen 2 and USB 3.2 Gen 2 both support data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps.
