S/FTP TPE patch cable, Cat.6A (500MHz) in snagless design with gold-plated contacts. Suitable for Ethernet up to Gigabit Ethernet (10GBase-T). The TPE jacket is a non-toxic alternative to PVC and can therefore be used in a variety of environments. Additionally, it is more flexible than its counterpart, with a bending resistance of 10 million cycles, and has high impact and tear resistance, making it a very durable jacket material. Cat. 6 cables are designed for operational frequencies up to 500MHz in a shielded version with a braid as an overall shield and foil shielding for the individual pairs (S/FTP). Cat.6A cables are versatile for the professional sector. They are excellent for Gigabit Ethernet or AV extension applications. They are manufactured and tested according to the guidelines of the ISO/IEC 11801 specification. The cables are individually packaged in a polybag. The gold-plated contacts ensure reliable, corrosion-free connections over very long periods. The snagless clip protection prevents breaking or tearing of the locking clip on the M/M (plug protection). This allows the cables to be stored and handled without getting the clips tangled.
