The TPE jacket is a non-toxic alternative to PVC and can therefore be used in a variety of environments. Additionally, it is more flexible than its counterpart, with a bending strength of 10 million, and has high impact and tear resistance, making it a very durable jacket material. Cat.6A cables for operating frequencies up to 500 MHz are shielded with a braid as an overall shield and foil shielding for the individual pairs (S/FTP). Cat.6A cables are widely used in professional settings. They are ideal for Gigabit Ethernet or AV extension applications. These cables are manufactured and tested according to the ISO/IEC 11801 specification. The gold-plated contacts ensure reliable, corrosion-free connections over very long periods. The snagless clip protection prevents the latch clip from breaking or tearing off on M/M (plug protection). This allows the cables to be stored and handled without getting the clips tangled. The TPE used as the jacket material provides increased flexibility, ensuring easy handling of the cables.
