The portable children's CD player SCR-970 from Lenco features a colorful and child-friendly design. CDs can be played in the top-loading drive. The compact stereo system can play not only standard audio CDs but also CD-R, CD-RW, as well as MP3 and WMA CDs. Additionally, it is equipped with a cassette player. Thanks to the FM transmitter, you can also receive your favorite radio stations. Sound playback is through the two built-in speakers. If you want to avoid disturbing the surroundings, headphones can be connected via the 3.5mm jack. The CD player can be powered by both a power cable and batteries. Its battery-operated capability makes it suitable for listening to music and cassettes while traveling. Analog radio reception is provided by the built-in FM tuner in the frequency range of 87.5 to 108.0 MHz. In Switzerland, various private and public stations are available. Simply tune to the correct frequency to receive the desired station in stereo quality. Until the end of 2019, all FM programs will also be broadcast digitally on a DAB platform. The shutdown of FM transmitters is set to begin in 2020 and is expected to be completed by 2024.
