The KUB Pentron® indexable insert drill with cylindrical shank from Komet is a highly advanced tool designed for demanding drilling applications. With optimal base body strength and a special surface treatment, this drill offers outstanding performance and longevity. It is particularly suitable for extreme machining situations and ensures excellent dimensional accuracy, even under challenging drilling conditions. The capability for off-axis drilling up to a maximum offset of 0.25 mm and the use of identical internal and external inserts contribute to reduced inventory costs. The drill is equipped with internal cooling and allows for precise machining with a drilling tolerance of ⌀D − 0.1 / + 0.2. The KUB Pentron® is available in various versions, including those with ABS® shank and PSC shank upon request.
