Kingston 16GB IronKey Vault Privacy 50 USB AES-256 Encrypted FIPS 197 (IKVP50/16GB)
The Kingston IronKey Vault Privacy 50 series consists of high-quality USB drives that provide enterprise-level security with FIPS 197 certified AES 256-bit hardware encryption in XTS mode. It includes protections against BadUSB through digitally signed firmware and safeguards against brute-force password attacks. The VP50 series is also TAA compliant. As these are encrypted storage devices under the physical control of the user, the VP50 series offers significantly better data privacy than the internet or cloud services.
Vault Privacy 50 supports the multi-password option (admin, user, and one-time recovery) with complex or passphrase modes. This allows for better recovery of access to data if one of the passwords is forgotten. In the traditional complex mode, passwords ranging from 6 to 16 characters are permitted using 3 out of 4 character sets.
