Kartell Small Fl/Y

FL/Y Small pendant light recycled. A classic from the late sixties? Far from it. The original design by Ferruccio Laviani dates back to 2002 - and only the designer himself dates back to 1960. However, Ferruccio Laviani's recourse to the popular plastic lampshade is not solely based on aesthetic considerations: The light globes, which are reminiscent of soap bubbles, are not cut at their meridian for the best light development, but slightly below the centre. Kartell offers the lampshade in a variety of colours - from clear or coloured transparency to opaque elegance in metallic and non-coloured shades that cast a different light on every room. To keep up with the times, Kartell now offers all lampshades made from sustainably recycled plastic. In addition, the transparency in particular reveals a beautiful detail: the suspension flashes with a chrome-plated lamp socket and an LED bulb included. In short, the FL/Y pendant light in the smaller Small version is also an exciting Italian luminaire design - from brightly coloured to discreetly elegant.
