Light Air Pendant Lamp. Eugeni Quitllet turns conventional lampshade designs on their head with his bold construction for the Italian manufacturer Kartell: Instead of a typical monk's cap holding the classically inspired lampshade, it floats seamlessly attached to a square frame made of laser-welded, smooth plastic. The conical shade, while classic in shape, captivates with a fine embossed pattern. This charming detail subtly obscures the view of the conventional socket (E14), allowing for any light bulb to be used according to personal preference. Kartell equips the modern, abstracted, and thus quite airy Light Air Pendant Lamp with a warm glowing LED bulb (5 W) to enhance the radiant effect of the reflective plastic.
