Instead of flickering candlelight, Philippe Starck elegantly and simply implements his idea of a modern electric candle: a slender, elongated body is enveloped by a gentle light that can be dimmed in three levels and lasts up to 40 hours on the lowest setting. The flush-mounted base houses the battery, which can be recharged via USB for romantic use time and again.
