ITead Studio Nextion NX3224T028 Generic 2.8" HMI LCD Touch Display
Product details
Intelligent, programmable HMI display, specially designed for Arduino.
The Arduino is a powerful board, but typically not powerful enough to display large amounts of data or a GUI on a screen. This is exactly the gap that Itead fills with its Nextion display.
Nextion displays are smart displays with touch functionality, flash memory, and a serial interface. With the freely available Nextion GUI for Windows, necessary data such as images or animations can be loaded directly onto the display and linked to actions like buttons. The Arduino or another microprocessor only needs to exchange relevant data with the display via a serial port, for example, sending measurement data for display or receiving a touch on a button. The display is completely managed by Nextion. Of course, Nextion displays can also be used with Raspberry Pi (all models).
Itead provides a powerful tool with the Nextion Editor to quickly and easily create cool GUIs. The editor, along with extensive English documentation, is freely available.
