Product details
The Intel Edison is an ultra-small computer platform that changes the way you view embedded electronics.
Each Edison is packed with a vast array of technical goodies in a tiny package, yet offers the same robust strength as your single-board computers. Powered by the Intel Atom SoC dual-core processor and featuring integrated WiFi, Bluetooth LE, as well as a 70-pin connector to attach a true range of shield-like "blocks" that can be stacked on top of each other. It's no wonder this little guy lowers the entry barrier to the world of electronics!
The Intel Edison packs a robust set of features into its small size, providing great performance, durability, and a wide range of I/O and software support. These versatile features help meet the needs of makers, inventors, and beginners. It is a module with a high-speed processor as well as WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities onboard. It is energy-efficient and takes up little space, making it ideal for projects that require a lot of computing power but do not have the ability to be near a larger power source or need a large footprint.
Dimensions: 35.5 x 25.0 x 3.9 mm (1.4 x 1.0 x 0.15 inches) Max
