IK Multimedia iLoud MTM

The iLoud MTM from IK Multimedia is a compact active studio monitor in MTM design, which stands for "Midrange Tweete Midrange". Accordingly, you will find two 3.5 inch drivers, a tweeter (1 inch) and a bass reflex port on the back of the speaker. With the stated power of 100 watts RMS, the speaker can also play really loud. The manufacturer emphasizes that the frequency response is extremely linear and can cover a frequency range from 40 Hz to 24 kHz. The iLoud MTM is completely DSP controlled and, in addition to a typical sound correction on the back, also has an integrated room calibration. This feature isn't necessarily surprising, as IK Multimedia has long used ARC 2.5 calibration software and ships it with its own measurement microphone. And it is this measurement microphone that is included with the speaker and is to be used for room calibration. The microphone is connected directly to the speaker and automatically corrects the frequency response after the measurement - sounds promising. The feature set is rounded off with an integrated stand, compact dimensions and a combined XLR/jack connection.
