Printers with dynamic security Some HP printers are designed for use only with print cartridges that have new or reused HP chips or electronic circuitry. These printers use dynamic security measures to block print cartridges with a non-HP chip or non-HP electronic circuit. Regular firmware updates maintain the effectiveness of these measures and block cartridges that previously worked. Reused HP chips and HP electronic circuits enable the use of reused, remanufactured and refilled print cartridges.

This is an HP enabled printer. Select HP during product setup to take advantage of the benefits. HP requires an HP account, an uninterrupted Internet connection and the exclusive use of Original HP cartridges throughout the life of the printer.
