With the DisplayPort 1.4 standard, the cable offers an exceptionally high bandwidth for smooth image playback without screen tearing or stuttering during gaming, and delivers a crystal-clear resolution of up to 8K. This DisplayPort 1.4 cable is ideal for high-resolution video transmission from a PC, laptop, or graphics card to a TV or monitor. With Display Stream Compression 1.2 (DSC) for resolutions up to 8K @ 60 Hz UHD, 4K @ 144 Hz, and 2K @ 240 Hz, the DP cable is particularly suited for gaming and HD video streaming.

DisplayPort 1.4 supports data rates of up to 32.4 Gbit/s, features forward error correction to reduce transmission errors, and is backward compatible with DisplayPort 1.3 and 1.5. The cable supports FreeSync and G-Sync, HDCP 2.2, Dynamic HDR, as well as 32 audio channels and many common audio formats, such as DTS-HD Master Audio.
