The Genelec 8010, with its compact dimensions, is the ideal active monitor for computer workstations, broadcast and OB van applications and mobile recording, with a robust, acoustically optimised die-cast aluminium housing. The rounded edges provide a precisely balanced stereo image. The drivers are protected by grids. The two Class-D amplifiers of the Genelec 8010 deliver a clear and neutral sound even at high volumes. The optimised bass reflex tuning enables a surprisingly good bass reproduction for the small size.
The active monitor can be adapted to its installation location via switchable filters. The frequency response is linearized. The IsoPod stand decouples the loudspeaker from the ground and allows the alignment to the listening position. There is an automatic on and off function. It can also be deactivated if required. For 2.1 systems, the Genelec 7040 subwoofer offers an extension of the frequency range up to 30 Hz.

Allerdings ist die kleine Boxe mittenbetont, sodass ein neutraler Klang hier nicht zu erwarten ist.
