- Super picture quality
- 4K videos up to 30 minutes
- High resolution touch display
- Pop-up flash
- No image stabiliser
- Overall only little new

- In terms of image and film quality, as well as features such as face and eye recognition or videos with F-Log, Fujifilm can convince with the X-T30 II.
- The Q button is not optimally placed. Unfortunately, Fujifilm does not supply a charger either - but you can charge the battery directly in the camera using a standard smartphone power adapter.
Those who already own an X-T30 are unlikely to feel the need for the X-T30 II - for most users the changes will simply be too minor to justify a new purchase. For everyone else, the X-T30 II is a very good camera for ambitious beginners, which should also be interesting as a second camera for advanced photographers...
The X-T30 II celebrates the classic Fujifilm look, but is much more compact than an X-T3 or X-T4 and even comes with a built-in flash. It gets the buy tip for "Leisure & Travel". Image quality, AF system and other features define this camera as a representative of the upper mid-range; the introductory price of around 900 euros seems reasonable...

- High-quality housing, partly made of metal and generously "leathered".
- Good combination of classic "analogue" operation and full automation
- Wide range of functions
- Cleverly integrated pop-up flash
- Good to very good image quality at up to ISO 1,600
- Tripod thread outside the optical axis and too close to the battery compartment
