He was a man of passionate ideas: Johannes Hammerborg, a goldsmith and designer born in Denmark in 1920, dedicated his entire life to the realization of his numerous projects with enthusiasm. He developed over 180 designs for lamps, many of which received international awards and were produced at the time by Fog & Mérup. In 2013, the Danish interior design manufacturer Fritz Hansen rediscovered his Orient pendant lamps and has since relaunched them in a modern LED version.
