Properties of Wood from the Plastic Family PLA

Wood is a modified filament type based on PLA that smells and feels like wood. It prints easily. We recommend using a nozzle of 0.60 mm or larger to avoid clogs. Brass nozzles are recommended. Due to a low shrinkage factor, Wood-PLA does not warp after cooling. Polylactic acid is a biodegradable plastic made from renewable natural resources and is one of the most popular materials for 3D printing.

Do not store the filament too dry, as it will become brittle very quickly.
