Properties of Wood from the PLA Plastic Family

Wood is a modified filament type based on PLA that smells and feels like wood. It prints easily. We recommend using a nozzle size of 0.60 mm or larger to avoid clogs. Brass nozzles are recommended. Due to its low shrinkage factor, wood-PLA does not warp after cooling. Polylactic acid is a biodegradable plastic made from renewable natural resources and is one of the most popular materials for 3D printing.

Store filament in a not too dry environment, otherwise it will become brittle very quickly.
