The armored, active HDMI hybrid cable is the most competitive HDMI connection solution with a long range on the market. It supports a combined HDMI bandwidth of up to 18 Gbps while remaining lightweight and flexible. The cable features a tight bending radius of only 45 mm with durable mechanics and an ultra-robust steel spiral beneath the cable sheath. Thanks to its advanced optical system, this HDMI hybrid cable offers full HDMI signal integrity over a maximum cable length of up to 100 m without external power supply (Plug & Play). Using hybrid technology, it is now possible to transmit all HDMI data (e.g., EDID, HDCP, CEC, etc.) from the sender to the receiver. This includes the 5V line of a conventional HDMI connection, which unfortunately cannot be transmitted over pure fiber optic lines. All products in the series are 3D-capable and provide full support for HDCP and EDID PassThrough in real-time, eliminating the need for EDID learning. The built-in chipsets are also equipped with a reclocking function and naturally support digital audio. The FX-I360 series is available in lengths from 10 m to 100 m, each with pre-assembled black HDMI connectors (also made of steel) on both ends and is supplied as bulk cable. The cable is unidirectional and must not be connected to the wrong port – the ends are clearly marked with "Source" and "Display." Successful connection to an HDMI adapter cannot be guaranteed.
