The Louder-ESP32-S3 Stereo Audio Development Board from Sonocotta is an innovative solution for audio applications, combining a powerful ESP32-S3-WROOM-N8R8 microcontroller with a TAS5805M I2S DAC featuring an integrated Class D amplifier. This board allows for the direct connection of passive speakers and delivers impressive audio performance of up to 2×23 W at 8 Ohms or 2×32 W at 4 Ohms. The enhanced processing power of the ESP32-S3 ensures efficient audio signal processing, while the external Wi-Fi antenna optimizes signal quality in challenging environments. With an onboard DSP that supports parametric EQ, soft clipping, and DRC, users can adjust the sound directly on the board. The board is also equipped with 8 MB of PSRAM, enabling stable audio streaming even with high-bitrate content. Voice assist functionality via ESPHome and the optional W5500 Ethernet header expand the possibilities for local voice control and automation.
