HDMI 2.0 Active Optical Cable (AOC) Fiber Optic Cable uses fiber optic technology for high-speed signal transmission. It enables perfect 4K at 60Hz transmission up to 100m. Compared to conventional copper cables, longer ranges can be achieved with this AOC cable. Additionally, the AOC cable is much thinner and lighter and is insensitive to EMC interference. Compared to other extender solutions, the AOC cable is easier to use and does not require an additional power supply.
