The ND4 filter was specifically designed for the DJI Phantom 3 and reduces the amount of light reaching the sensor. This allows you to better control the aperture, shutter speed, and sensor sensitivity of the camera, giving you more creative freedom. Essentially, the ND4 filter protects against overexposure.

The ND4 filter lets through only 25% of the incoming light, which corresponds to a factor of 2 extension.
