The DJI Mavic is a sophisticated pocket-sized drone. It fits in any pocket and can easily be taken anywhere. The area corresponds to about one third of a sheet of paper.
A completely new remote control was developed for the DJI Mavic. In addition, the DJI Mavic can also be controlled with the smartphone and the DJI GO app.
New to the Platinum Edition
The Mavic Pro Platinum has a sleek and compact design. The improved flight time of up to 30 minutes and a noise reduction of 60% make the Mavic Pro Platinum one of DJI's most sophisticated and ingenious drones.
New sinusoidal speed controllers (ESC) and propeller type 8331 reduce the noise level during flight by up to 4 dB (60%) and also extend the flight time to up to 30 minutes.
The 8331 propellers have a brand new aerodynamic design that dramatically reduces the noise level.
The new sinusoidal current speed controllers (ESC) provide improved stability.

Autonomous flight
The DJI Mavic can independently fly around obstacles and hover very precisely. This is made possible by up to 5 cameras, a GPS/GLONASS system, 2 ultrasonic sensors and a high-performance processor.
4K camera with 3-axis gimbal
DJI has developed the smallest 4K camera with a highly sensitive 3-axis gimbal. Photos are taken with up to 12 megapixels, 4K videos are possible with up to 30fps. The maximum exposure time is 8 seconds and the photos can be saved in Adobe DNG RAW format if desired.
