LiPo stands for Lithium Polymer and is an advancement of the lithium-ion battery. This type of battery has a significantly higher energy density compared to NiMH batteries. For this reason, LiPos are ideally suited for use in combination with high-performance brushless electric motors. The Intelligent Flight Battery for the Mavic Air 2 is made from lithium cells with an extremely high density, providing a flight time of 34 minutes.
