Deepcool

The DeepCool LS720 SE WH is an all-in-one liquid CPU cooler that offers reliable high-performance cooling based on a water pump design for optimal results. Customize the color with a large and bright ARGB infinity mirror cover on the CPU water block and the included ARGB fans to match the rest of your system. Based on a fourth-generation high-performance water pump design, it maximizes cooling efficiency. A mirrored top cover with a slim frame captures the infinite reflection of 16 RGB LEDs, creating a vibrant visual effect. The smooth aluminum housing provides a premium finish and a radiant shine. Stay cool with 120mm ARGB PWM fans that combat heat with maximum static pressure and powerful airflow. A low-speed adapter included in the package reduces maximum noise by up to 10 dB for ultimate silence. Easily control and coordinate the RGB lighting effects of your cooler through compatible motherboards and controllers for complete customization. Stable mounting brackets for both Intel and AMD sockets are included, making installation simple and easy.

Socket

A CPU socket or CPU slot is a mechanical component that provides mechanical and electrical connections between a microprocessor and a printed circuit board (PCB). This allows the CPU to be replaced without soldering.
Common sockets have retention clips that apply a constant force, which must be overcome when a device is inserted. For chips with a large number of pins, either zero-insertion force (ZIF) sockets or land grid array (LGA) sockets are used instead. These designs apply a compression force once either a handle (for ZIF type) or a surface plate (LGA type) is put into place. This provides superior mechanical retention while avoiding the risk of bending pins when inserting the chip into the socket.
