It was founded by Kenzo Takada and presented worldwide after the Maison & Objet fair in January 2020. The name represents balance and harmony. For Kenzo Takada, collaborating with Clairefontaine was a natural choice. The artist and designer's boundless creativity manifested daily in various forms: painting, calligraphy. Some objects in this collection are presented in the style of Kintsugi, paying homage to Japanese craftsmanship. This ancient art invites one to repair a broken object by highlighting its flaws and scars with gold powder – a tradition celebrated within the creative universe of K-3.
